Aftermarket Fuel Regulator for Gen2
How fuel regulator funtion ? Fuel regulator is using vacuum to pull the diafragm which hard press a spring and let fuel to flow back to tank . If the diafragm close (low vacuum)that mean pressure will occur at fuel rail and force fuel to inject thru nozzle (injector) .If diafragm open (high vacuum) mean low pressure at fuel rail and small amount of fuel will be injected ( during low revving and idling ) . Stock fuel regulator only apply 2.5kg/cm2 and consider very low pressure . As we know during high revving vacuum will act very low and diafragm will open widely . Thus very low pressure at fuel rail and cause lagging ( RPM climb very slow ). Aftermarket fuel regulator is adjustable , not like stock one . For NA will normal fuel piping , pressure always set at 0.3psi . More than enough already . Why must high pressure ? FC will increase ? FC won't increase if you used to set pressure at optimum point . High pressure will force fuel to inject and split into many small dot if compare...
