Campro Engine (CPS + VIM ) How it works..?

Engines create power from combusting a mixture of fuel and air. Valve lift creates a gap to draw air into the combustion chamber, and this gap influences the ratio of air in the mixture. Ordinary engines have fixed rate of valve lift, but Cam Profile Switching gives variable valve lift, for optimised airflow into the engine. A High Lift cam profile improves maximum power, whilst the Low profile offers fuel efficiency and low emissions. Air is supplied to the valves by the engine’s intake manifold. Variable intake Manifold technology intelligently changes the rate of “breathing” according to the engine speed. At low speed, air will drawn through the Long Runner manifold. The ...

170bhp on your CamPro Engine..

huh..??!! 170bhp..?? v-tec or what..? even stock 1.6 v-tec can get 160bhp.. hehehe.. but there is a group researching and developing the campro engine for better output..the engine were used in several Rally racing in malaysia.. im not very sure how much the development cost.. hehe... as far as i know, there is 5 stages of modification.. 1. HT02 - 130 bhp 2. HT03 - 141 bhp 3. HT04 - 150 bhp 4. HT06 - 170 bhp for HT04, the budget is about RM 10 K. About the engine.. The power is equivalent to normal 2.4 liter engine but the torque equivalent to 1.9 liter. But the Fuel Consumption will cut your head away.. hhehehe..
